Who’s Responsible?

Blog

As part of our responsibilities as a Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) holder, GPS is required to “maintain our organisational competence at all times” by appointing at least two Responsible Managers (RMs).

RMs must be directly responsible for significant day to day decisions, be of good fame and character and have the requisite knowledge and skill to make sure that GPS can competently provide the financial service we offer.

In order to make sure GPS is adequately covered under any circumstance, we have four RMs, Richard Woodhead, Bruce Atkinson, Matthew Buckley and Benjamin O’Hara.

Our four RMs have a great wealth of experience and a diverse range of knowledge and skill in law, compliance, credit assessment, finance, marketing, business development, property development and valuation.

GPS is committed to ensuring that our team has the knowledge and skill to act in the best interest of investors and borrowers alike. We like to stay ahead of the game, and having double the required Responsible Managers assists with this.

Get to know more about our RMs, and the rest of the GPS staff, by visiting our “About” page.
