March 2022 – Flood update in South East Queensland

Blog

The Queensland Floods have been stressful and scary for everyone affected. The GPS team is all safe and well, and the office building (minus the underground carpark) also came out unscathed.

We have spent the last week checking in on all the borrowers and sites to see how everything is looking, including doing site inspections where we can, and chatting to the borrowers face-to-face about any issues. You will be pleased to know that there is no major flooding on any of the GPS sites. It is important to note though that while flooding may not be an issue, there could very well be delays due to surrounding flood zones and overall wet weather. We have instances where contractors can’t get to the sites because of flooded streets blocking access, so that will create delays of some extent while the water levels remain high.

We are ensuring that we stay in regular contact with our borrowers as always, and will of course update you if it affects your investment.

If you would like a specific update on any site please do not hesitate to contact us!
