We take pride in our projects

Blog

One of the great moments of satisfaction the GPS team experience is getting to see the final result at the completion of a project.

Bruce, Monica and Jess recently met with the borrower and marketer at 66 Lambert Street, Indooroopilly for a tour of the finished building.

The pride and care that had gone into the project was evident. The units were thoughtfully laid out, and the attention to detail made it clear why they have been so popular with owner occupiers.

At the time of our visit, 9 of the 32 units had sold and settled and 5 more units have followed since. The loan will repay long before its maturity date of 27 August 2018.

GPS works hard to ensure each project is successful, not just to look after our investors’ funds but also to ensure the success of our borrowers. This is how we maintain repeat business.

Our borrowers’ successes are our successes.

GPS has a hands-on approach to managing the projects we fund. We only fund approximately 35 projects at a time and have a “two-hour rule” i.e. if we can’t drive to a project within approximately two hours, we won’t take it on.

A team member will visit each project roughly once a month to keep a eye on things and help keep the whole team informed on progress.

If you would like a tour of any of the project sites, do not hesitate to let us know. We would be happy to take any of our investors out on visits.

Richard recently went out for a morning of site visits with one of GPS’s longtime investors. They visited multiple sites, one of the most impressive being GIL Development Pty Ltd at 76 Graham Road, Carseldine.

The project, which consists of the construction of 16 four-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouses, is moving very quickly, now approximately 30% complete. The townhouses will boast numerous positive features including a duplex configuration, extra powder rooms, above average sized courtyards and low body corporate levies. 10 of the townhouses have already been sold with a mix of conditional and unconditional contracts.
