On the Wednesday 5th of July, Bruce and Jess headed out to inspect the progress at 27 Arafura Avenue, Loganholme (EMI Pty Ltd). They met one of the Borrowers/builder, Mark (of Mark Developments and Constructions Pty Ltd), on site and he was happy to show them around.
The framing was up, with the roof on one duplex and another roof scheduled to go up the next week. Windows were in and sheeting had begun. The structure and rough in were far enough along that Bruce and Jess were able to take a tour through one the townhouses and picture the end product.
The layout of the nine townhouses has been well thought through with large, wider than average double lock-up garages, roomy bathrooms and pleasant, big bedrooms.
As at our quantity surveyor’s site inspection on 23 June 2017 the project was 22.83% complete, and is estimated to be completed by December 2017/January 2018.
As for sales, Mark reported that three firm expressions of interest had been receive to date, soon to be converted into contracts.
Based on the layout and size (internal and external), standard of finishes, anticipated price, the location/position in Loganholme, close to shops, schools and major transport routes, the townhouses will appeal to both owner occupiers and investors.
With currently a limited amount of similar product available in the area, there is very little competition for this property.
